| I ignored the suggestion about better regulation of delivery companies because it is something that would have to be done at a national level and there appears no prospect of this happening. As for my suggestions to increase safety, the cycle lane should be narrowed to single file as it crosses the two zebras as close shaves seem to be often caused by a fast moving cyclist overtaking more considerate riders slowing down for pedestrians; warning signs for cyclists to slow down either side of the crossings; more regular enforcement on the High Road particularly of illegal e-bikes and e-scooters. |
