Suggested wording: Highway Code 'Rules for Cyclists/Crossing the Road' '#81: Do not ride across equestrian crossings, as they are for horse riders only. Do not ride across a pelican, puffin or zebra crossing. Dismount and wheel your cycle across. Law TSRGD regs 33(2) & 36(1)' I presume this restriction also applies to cargo bikes, together with the one about not riding on the pavement. '#64: You MUST NOT cycle on a pavement' Laws HA 1835 sect 72 & R(S)A sect 129 I think my observation about cargo bikes might have been about how any children are conveniently located low down and at the front so they can absorb any potential impact with other vehicles. |
