| Many people don't seem to realise how poor the lighting is at night or in the dark afternoons and evenings and in the rain. There are so many bikes without lights and people wearing black or dark clothing with no fluorescent or reflective element to it. There are also people who drive in the half light without using their lights. Some cars seem to have lights which are permanently on and then there are drivers who seem to still be waiting for lighting up time when visability is demonstrably poor and they should be using lights. This of course means that those with no lights are even harder to see - and of course those with no lights won't see reflective clothing. Wasn't there once a See & Be Seen campaign? |
