| If it has a fault (!) this blog does seem to have a tendency to blame the victim. 'You should have seen it', 'I blame the parents', 'You should have realised', 'You shouldn't have been there', 'It serves you right', etc., which can lead into tricky territory once you get to 'But you did accept a drink from him'. It's pretty clear that Quentin Hogg should make sure their brambles don't overhang the road or the highway authority should have cut them back. But how do we know the picture shows the actual brambles? They could be any brambles. The picture could be taken last year. It could all be a dead cat, fake news, Putin inspired, bramble conspiracy intended to create divisions among the population of Chiswick! |
