| Yes, what you do is what people always used to do in the years before a lot of people thought that the council should do absolutely everything which absolved residents from what used to be called 'civic duty'. We live in these streets - surely keeping things tidy and clean in front of our homes benefits everyone. And you're right the amount of neighbours who stop for a chat is quite nice - especially in the current circumstances. |
