| But if, as suggested by the news item, some company was contracted to do the weeding work in Ealing but hasn't been doing it, then we have reason to complain. Clearly something has changed, as I can't recall our streets being as weedy as they are now. If there's no longer a weeding contract in place because of financial cut backs, then let us know and we'll deal with the weeds ourselves. It would be irritating, though, if we cleared our weeds only for the contractors to turn up on some extended timetable and have nothing to do for the money we're paying them. |
