| Renzo? Anyway the restaurant was short lived and my memory was the food was not that memorable? Before that it was a very large Breakfast cafe (largest greasy spoon I ever eat in around West London) that closed after lunchtimes. It did a roaring trade and always full in teh morning. The builders' and tradesmen's vans filled the road outside Monday to Saturday. Many local ladies worked there in kitchen and serving but the story I heard (from my builder at the time) was the owner was too close a mate of the bookies. The ladies turned up for work one morning to be told that the place was closing that day!! |
