| This thread certainly shows W4 is full of "foodies" who have always loved eating out! Another belated vote for Moonlight Tandoori that used to be in Devonshire Road and has since been followed by various Italian restaurants on the same site to this day! It may have felt like you were walking into somebody's dilapidated front room with poor lighting and a carpet and wallpaper that felt twenty years old with a 1950s bar at the far end. But it was easily the best curries and tandoori restaurant since moving here in the mid-80s we have ever had in W4 for my money! Indian friends told me it was famous in the Indian community because the kitchen was run by well known Indian curry chefs and many of them came from miles around to eat there. |
