When I first came to live in Chiswick there was a restaurant called MacArthur’s at the Texas Lone Star site now occupied by Cote. Tarts became Tootsies at the site that is now Honest Burgers. I always liked Le Piaf, when this closed it eventually became a branch of Strada. The Greek restaurant Kleftiko on the corner where Devonshire Rd meets the High Rd where the estate agent is now was a great place with tables spilling out onto the road outside in the Summer, the owner Michael was an amazing host.
