The Chan Garden, in our minds, was the best Chinese restaurant anywhere. Singapore Garden now occupies the site. They used to close for a month during December/January to return to China to spend Christmas with family. As soon as the closure dates were announced we would buy four portions of spare ribs in sauce and freeze them to see us through until they reopened. Not had better Chinese food either here or in China!
