Sam's was too noisy for me. The harsh acoustic meant that it only needed two or three well-oiled customers to up the decibels and my wife and I, who are both rather deaf, had difficulty in talking to one another. Restaurants need to think more about the use of sound-deadening materials. Just the use of table linen can help.
