| Your statements just show what a pompous twat you really are... "My young adult daughter's friends don't live like that. They are responsible young people who take on the responsibility and are encouraged by their parents to lead responsible lives if they want a good education - and they don't complain!! They work hard and achieve results" You really think that those who live on benefits or low incomes want less or have children less deserving. Academic achievement is also about which secondary school you go to. You live in a world where you can borrow £60,000 to pay for private school. Those who scrape by or are placed in clearing are often those students who went to the bog standard state school. Those who parents struggle to house clothe and feed them. I also don’t think it makes you a yuppie if you have to live on £10,000 per year - which includes your accommodation, food, fares, heating, bills, etc... I would like to see you live on that income. "Again - well done. But actually I have now decided I won't sit on the fence. Having seen your misuse of grammar, bad spelling, sentence structure and sequencing I am just grateful that you haven't represented the UK in any English speaking countries. " Oh Steve, I bet that last sentence make you feel so clever, so bright. Is that what a public school education buys you, the ability to sneer at others for their lack of sentence structure? Well at least I represented the UK in something....and I am representing the UK in Copenhagen’s Elephant parade next year. Also in Feb I am making a huge sculpture in Liverpool, on the original speaker’s corner, outside St George’s Hall, to commemorate the live of a suffragette – Mary Bamber. So I guess my lack of the English language has not held me back in my career. |
