| That was a bit of a long-winded wriggle, Steve. Why can't you face the facts? You said Mary Macleod was heading for defeat: you were wrong. You said Sue Sampson had no chance of winning in Isleworth: you were wrong. You also strongly implied that the Lib Dems would win Brentford & Isleworth: "Labour and Tory have shown us all just how little they care for the environment and the 35,000 victims of Mogden's mismanagement will not forget this on polling day. The only major party to stand up to these people, and not back-stab their constituents, are the Lib Dems." But once again, you were wrong... Mary Macleod (Con) 20,022 Ann Keen (Lab) 18,064 Andrew Dakers (Lib Dem) 12,718 Poor Stevie. He can't seem to get anything right. |
