| "surrounded the van for whom the issue of tuition fees is never going to be a factor in their life" This is rubbish and shows you no nothing of why the students are there. Many were there because they are angry at losing their EMA money, £30 per week is not much to some but a great deal to those kids. Also they are angry at the prospect of losing their oyster cards. I guess you are baseing your info of tv reports or from the mainstream news...Which love to try to show division. And who says there is reluctance to make common cause with the unions., There was a trade union march at 6pm yesterday, but it was not covered by the mainstream. This is not a middle class revolt, and its not just about doing a degree, its about the cuts made to the entire education system. |
