| "Unless of course the Police also planted phone booths and bus shelters and handed out cans of spray paint." Eh? What? No. There where people in the crowd with spray paint. They're not the kinds of people I know but it was a diverse crowd. The ones I talked to told me about the van as, you know, they where there. It looks like the trick of focusing on the ones eager to vandalise worked in your case. There is a big difference between what is happening at these events and how they are being portrayed in the media. That's the worrying thing. So I'm not quite sure why you think I'm a 'simpleton' or why you mention the phone booths or bus shelters. Perhaps you are trying to tell me there where some people in the crowd who wanted to cause trouble other than try and get a message across. That wouldn't exactly be news and they will be there at future events. Thus the police van. Perhaps it was an experiment, but it was definitely a sacrificial offering, so to speak. |
