| I think this is a complex issue. I have seen some very persuasive arguments ofr the legalisation of drugs (including public health, reduction of crime, etc.). But the fact remains that statistically the two most destructive drugs, measured by public health impact, causation of violence, etc. are the two legal ones: tobacco and alcohol. Any change in policy should be evidence based. The problem is, we have a government that makes policy on prejudices, showboating and gaslighting. Which is why we are in the mess we are in. |
