| 'Interesting and enlightening piece on the BBC news website today about the increasing role of Albanian gangs in the recruitment of 'asylum seekers'.Apparently they are offering free passage on a small boat in exchange for an agreement to work in the illegal drugs industry.Make what you will of it,but summat has to be done in my humble opinion.' Why on earth we don't legalise drugs and regulate them is beyond me - would soon stop a lot of these gangs. We are light years behind so many other countries with our prissy and short-sighted views, prohibition does not work, be it alcohol or drugs. As for the amount of time and money that the police spend in the futile pursuit of tiddly bits of weed when they rarely turn out for burglaries and other crime, that's criminal in itself. |
