| The law is quite clear that people claiming asylum need to be cared for properly while their applications are dealt with. If that means more hotel rooms being sought then so be it. Or are you happy to have children sleeping on floors in tents in Kent? The decision not to obtain proper accommodation has resulted in the disgraceful situation in Manston and that is down to Braverman. The lack of efficiency in dealing with applications for genuine asylum seekers is purely down to the Home Office and let’s remember which party has been in power for twelve years. |
