| “ With the Government spending £6.8 million a day putting up migrants in hotels – at an average cost of £150 per person per night – she insisted she was right to order a review of the way the system is working.” "Strange that there are thousands of hotels offering £60 to £80 a night PER ROOM but our inept home office pays £150 PER PERSON! More waste!" Those hotels offering 2-3 meals a day means refugees don't get the benefit for food and only get a smaller benefit for toiletries and clothing. Also to a point, these people are living and not staying so electricity and gas have to be taken into account for both owner and refugee. That is why a place costing £80 becomes say £150 |
