| Why would anyone do what you're suggesting? If you (doubtful) or anyone else could tell me that our current drugs policy works I'd be amazed, because we all know it hasn't and it doesn't. Yet it costs this country a fortune in the futile enforcement, wastes police time and resources and what for? For the problem to have become progressively worse, and the misery caused extends to people trafficking and prostitution and practically every criminal activity you can think of. The forces of Law and Order haven't got a chance, better to legalise, regulate and tax, and treat this as a public health matter, and offer support and treatment where needed. The stupid thing is really that so many of these drugs are freely available, probably more so than cigarettes and alcohol. |
