If the moral case is so clear cut against restricting traffic then we have no choice as a society but to open Beverly Road. According to the principles behind the clear moral case that will immediately resolve all issues of traffic displacement and congestion on the major roads of Chiswick Lane and Chiswick High Road. Of course this means that we must also do the same with Thornton Avenue as that modal filter is displacing traffic to Turnham Green Terrace and Chiswick High Road. And of course we must also restore access at the southern end of Woodstock Road as that restriction is displacing traffic to The Avenue and Bath Road. The list goes on. Open the roads! Freedom! |
