As you know, Tom, The Highway Code is also clear about cycling on pavements being illegal. Then you'll go on about safety and well being, I'll toss in mental health and the playing field gets levelled. Cyclists break laws all the time for their well being. This is precisely the same. But honestly, are you really going to argue people can't access their homes in a direct manner? That it's better for them to generate more pollution just to arrive safely at their door? Are you still trying to divide the community and foster ill will? Are you really trying to have one set of rules for one neighborhood and a completely different set of rules for another all in the same post code? I know scientists aren't really know for their empathy, but this takes the cake. |
