Peter Evans explained: quote: " Read the signs! 'No Motor Vehicles Except for Access'. Means what it says! "So that excludes driving straight through, or stopping and driving on without calling at premises in the zone to collect or deliver something or to make some enquiry. In practice, this is difficult as there are no parking slots along Devonshire at the moment" end quote: So basically, what you're saying is that anyone contemplating visiting Devonshire Road in their car to shop will need to carry two passengers. Both wearing running shoes and one with a high Viz jacket and a sign. So that when approaching Devonshire Road say 100 yards distant both passengers jump out of the car and run on ahead. If there is a parking slot then the one with the High Viz vest lays down in the bay while holding up the sign saying RESERVED. While the other passenger runs back to the top of Devonshire Road and beckons you in. On the other hand if there are no available bays both pasengers run to the top of Devonshire Road and get back in the car. So cameras or no cameras no offence will have been committed. As you say yourself, what could be simpler ? michael adams ... |
