| Dukes Avenue is much wider than Duke Road. I live on the Glebe Estate and constantly face gridlock on Duke Road, not to mention witnessing violent altercations with people refusing to reverse to allow people through, and that's before this new crackpot scheme is introduced (followed by the cycle route that will force yet more traffic down that tiny road and into this peaceful community). Your counter claim of 125 cars an hour actually undermines your argument. That's a potential flashpoint every 30 seconds! |
