| And actually while I am here a big shout out to the team at Covent Garden Fishmongers for all their hard work. This week we have had a whopper of a lobster with home made herby mayonnaise and chips, a big fat turbot roasted on a bed of fennel and tarragon, red mullets with an orange and tarragon salt rub barbecued, and rainbow trout in a wine and lemon parcel. All super fresh and well worth the queue. The slab has never looked better in the 20 years I’ve been shopping here and the day boat catches from Cornwall and the Bristol Channel are amazing. Today we will be spatchcocking a Macken chicken for the BBQ and making a spice rub. Eating it with courgettes and white Italian beans from Natoora. Perhaps other loyal supporters of the TGT shops could share their recipes and highlights of the week? |
