| This is the 1st have heard of this proposal. As someone who drives towards Acton using Turnham Green Terrace as a standard route I'd be interested to know what alternative routes are being suggested. Stopping traffic through here will only increase volumes along Chiswick High Rd going either towards Acton Lane or Goldhawk Road. Woukd mean longer travel times, more pollution not to mention congestion at these pinch points. Only a while back parking was increased here with 30 minute grace period for shoppers so that wS a waste of time and effort if to be stopped. What with this and the impending cycle lanes there will be utter chaos on the roads of Chiswick |
