| It looks as if some local shops are doing OK during the present restrictions. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2020/may/27/uk-corner-shops-and-independent-grocers-ring-up-63-per-cent-rise-in-sales-coronavirus It could be that, as things ease up, more people will shop locally for fear of using public transport to go further afield, or conversely, have got used to online shopping from home, with the extra traffic that generates. |
