| Justin, the seem to be primarily aiming to benefit shops particularly the independent traders on TGT and Devonshire Road. They must have been consulted about it and presumably are keen on the idea. Paul, it is dangerous nonsense to suggest local shops can't keep up with demand. The queues outside are due to the need for social distancing not a sudden rush of new customers. Nearly every shop has seen a significant drop in turnover. Creating the impression they are coining it might undermine the efforts to encourage people to start using them more again. |
