| Unfortunately not. Because nothing he says means anything to him (and so therefore to anyone else). Which make him impossible to deal with. Nobody trusts him. Which is why he will find it impossible to negotiate good trade deals. His withdrawal agreement is nothing more than what was offered by the rest of the EU two years ago as a solution to the Irish border. It's all smoke and mirrors. Kier Starmer gave an excellent speech yesterday. He is an excellent lawyer who understands the issues, and people trust him. If he were leading the Labour Party I suspect that they would be 20 - 30 points ahead. |
