| If the Referendum was a social compact (which it was not) then we can compare it to a commercial contract. I have made commercial contracts that turned out to be bad deals. Where I did so with my eyes open, and without being deceived, I've lived with it and taken the loss. But where the deal was a bad deal because I was misled, I didn't accept the contract. A contract entered into because of a misrepresentation is not binding. Saying "you lost, get over it" is like a burglar, when caught, claiming to be entitled to keep the stolen goods and telling his victim to "get over it". No, its not a Second Referendum that I want. I am waiting for a First Referendum legally held and finance, without foreign interference or social media targeting and manipulation. |
