| Having checked on Perceval it does not seem a good comparison. That PM overcame many a problem - Peninsula War, Luddite riots, recession. This one, Johnson, can't get anything done. Equally we should not wish assassination on Johnson. The thought of that oaf being held up as a martyr is sickening. We might however hope he that finds his own ditch to cease to be (as promised), or that he finds some bulldozers to lie in front of, or any means of auto-darwinating. But given that he is unable to utter anything that he ever intends to stick with it does seem unlikely. Have we ever had a politician, let alone a PM, who is so careless about their own promises and commitments? The tories need to dump him like the liability and embarrassment that he is. |
