| When you don't know why people are crossing in the first pplace (and don't just to get to the other side me) how can you work out where more investment in public transport and infrastructure input is needed elsewhere? It's crazy everyone trying to go into and through London in order to just go out again. We've stopped driving to the Putney area because it's easier to go by tube now it's also faster and the pavements are lovely and flat and trip-free now. If traffic drives over those pavements they won't be and the situation change. We've walked over Hammersmith Bridge but it would be difficult with a lot of luggage and would need planning ie finding a cargo bike. There are roadworks in Kew which have been causing congestion around there but most people travelling around there surely check their route before they go? The Lizzie line has also changed a lot of journeys. |
