“ it was often stuffed up with no space at all for cycling except between stationary vehicles, which is not a nice thing to do without a protected bike lane,” I used the bridge almost daily for about 9 years before it was closed and I don’t recall it being a problem for pedestrians or cyclists but your argument is totally irrelevant now because the new bridge will OBVIOUSLY cater for pedestrians and cyclists too. It is a fair solution for ALL commuters. You seem to selfishly want to exclude buses and motorists from any future plans. |
