Would it not be criminally irresponsible of Fugro not to disclose any concerns that arose from their tests? Certainly Conway staff appear to be assuring people that there is no problem with the original pilings and I am told a Hammersmith and Fulham officer confirmed likewise in a public meeting back in February. It is frankly inconceivable that we would have got to the point of a minister actively considering funding the full reopening of the bridge if there was a question mark as to its structural integrity but an FoI request into the report should allay any remaining concerns that you may have. |
