| No, Juliet, it shows how the current LBH system fails miserably. Rubbish on the High Road has been piled up for the weekend. Not the case in Hammersmith. If you're out for an afternoon, and you should sit and have a snack or lunch or whatever and you are on your way to the next thing, you should have to run home to drop off your garbage??? Carry it with you to the next borough? No. You should be able to easily dispose of it and continue. And when you can't and it piles up and that becomes the norm, it becomes acceptable and expected. When you see a pile on one block, it numbs you to leaving your crap on the next. Now the habit has to be broken. |
