| I'll pick this up. Again. Sacks of waste collected on Fridays are left out after the collection crew have finished their shifts so they stay on our streets until Monday. I highlighted this in 2020 in the Chiswick Shops Task Force retail report, saying how embarrassing it is stepping over waste sacks when with friends from outside the area. The task force raised waste collection arrangements and bins again in our June 2021 suggestions for improving Devonshire Road. The three of us (Cllrs Ranjit Gill, Ron Mushiso and I) have often asked for more bins and more frequent emptying of bins on Chiswick Back Common, Turnham Green, Turnham Green Terrace and Devonshire Road particularly in good weather. I'll do it again. |
