| "noticeable that Hounslow appear not to clear bins over a weekend" That is madness if correct. Even ealing in the summer months is not adequate due to the number of people on the greens and given the time of day they are emptied which results in nearly a whole day and evening of rubbish being disposed of and then piled up next to bins. I know philippa says people should take rubbish home but in the real world people dont want to or are not going home so you just have to knock that idea on the head,right or wrong On the back common the bins are just not adeqate and not enough of them and you need more where the main footfall in and out is located. That is why outside TG station and opposite on the green the bin or bins become full and overflowing by 7pm and by the morning it looks a complete mess. |
