| Yet perversely, all this volunteering and charity work just disguises the underlying inadequacy of the properly government-funded health and welfare provision we should expect. It's the same as clapping our 'NHS heroes' and 'key workers' while at the same time paying them a pittance and exposing them to the virus more than anyone else. |
