| Bruce Why didn't you freecycle/freegle using the easier interface www.trashnothing.com? Lots of people choose not to be on NextDoor. In its earlier incarnation it was good but then it was bought by an American company and started demanding a lot more information. It is political dogma that has caused the housing crisis and it is the housing crisis which is at the bottom of so many of the country's problems. If you can't remember Council Housing then you must be either very young or very forgetful. Councils are supposed to house everybody but the lack of housing means that they are having to place people all over the country which breaks up families and communities causing all sorts of problems including lack of continuity of education for children and lack of support as families and friends and neighbours are separated. |
