| Complaints about inconvenience, "whatabouteries" and the belief that large families are the cause of climate change won't wash any more. Nor will exporting production to China and elsewhere to reduce our country's carbon footprint. It won't take more than a few minutes of your time, but I suggest that you first read this brief article by the professor of Geosystem Science at Oxford University who undoubtedly knows what he's talking about, and then follow the link to calculate your individual carbon footprint and do something to neutralise it. Or better still, even overcompensate. I thought I lived a reasonably green lifestyle - turns out I'm not. And I will have to do a great deal more to reduce my carbon footprint to anything close to the global average. https://theconversation.com/why-protesters-should-be-wary-of-12-years-to-climate-breakdown-rhetoric-115489?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=The%20Weekend%20Conversation%20-%201289111993&utm_content=The%20Weekend%20Conversation%20-%201289111993+CID_8c190afa877f8e00e19830f35783e194&utm_source=campaign_monitor_uk&utm_term=Why%20protesters%20should%20be%20wary%20of%2012%20years%20to%20climate%20breakdown%20rhetoric |
