| Emma has been working with Greenpeace and others for many years and it’s a well observed fact that having a celebrity on board makes a big difference with all their fans. The truth is that given the short timescale that we now have, no countries are doing enough. If some countries are doing better than others, how are they and can we all learn something from this? Saying that if the UK is doing better than others therefore we needn’t make so much effort isn’t really helpful when the whole Globe is being affected by it, particularly as it’s the wealthiest countries which have largely caused it. Making us all more aware of it means that we can all understand the urgency and do as much as we can as individuals for the sake of the whole planet. |
