| Just back from central London and came upon the boat blocking Oxford Circus. All very peaceful and musical. Plenty of police and I was told they were arresting people sporadically. There were lots of them, mostly at a distance and seemed quite chilled. The people manning the barricades, as it were, are apparently working shifts, so there will be a continual presence until ...? I do think we all need to be aware and not let the financial world, bent on expansion, wreak too much havoc. |
