| Over-population has been addressed but options other than self-regulation and self-control tend not to be very popular with the affluent and generally happens naturally once families aren't so poor that they lose so many family members to starvation and all the illnesses that are now rare in the first world. Compare our family sizes in the UK now with those of our Victorian ancestors. |
