You are obviously well informed and probably well educated so you have tried to to he right thing. The majority of this country hasn't a clue so it is protests like this that make people aware of the dire situation our planet is in. Don't forget that Ofsted's last director claimed that just under 6 million in this country can't read and write properly. Are they aware of the environmental catastrophe? I would have thought that the more publicity this issue gets on TV and radio etc., the message gets across to the minions. The government needs to wake up but they won't unless people tell them what to do! Even David Attenborough received little more that a polite clap at the climate change conference after his impassioned speech. |
