The stump of the second of the two leaning spring blossom trees in the previous post. Can perhaps understand why the council felt both trees had to be chopped down. But I'm certainly no expert and it begs the question - why were they not better managed in the first place? And why the total lack of communication from Ealing Council about this tree work across many streets?
Again, I've no idea whether this is for the long term good of the trees and I have read the entire thread. But it appears almost every street in the Ealing side of Chiswick has been visited by the tree surgeons, with many stripped of their spring beauty.
