| I've just sent a series of massive complaint emails to customerservices@ealing.gov.uk regarding the destruction of trees and birds' nests in the Fairlawn area. I also took before and after photos. I was incensed to get the following reply: quote Hello Silvia Your request has been passed onto the tree department under reference number xxxxxx. The tree department will investigate the complaint and will respond directly to you with 5 - 10 working days. Kind regards Rehana The Customer Service Team. unquote I wanted the destruction stopped yesterday, when I uergently emailed them, not in 10 days' time. Despite all that, please flood the council with complaints. They can also be escalated to the Chief Executive and to the Ombudsman (I'm preparing the photos etc. for the former). |
