Woman stabs tree surgeon and leaves. Hounslow Chronicle Mar 23 2011 By Jessica Thomas At 3.15pm yesterday (Tues) three men were working on removing large branches from a tree outside Prebend Mansions in Chiswick High Road. They had cordoned off the area to protect the public however a woman tried to barge through. One of the tree surgeons told her it was for her her own safety to stay clear however she pushed past him. She returned 45 minutes later with an eight to nine inch knife and bought it down on the tree surgeon's head. Superintendent Paul Martin, Deputy Borough Commander, said: The tree surgeon received a fractured skull and stitches, it was not life threatening or life changing. The woman disappeared after she had confronted him and we are now trawling through CCTV footage trying to identify her so we can bring her in. |
