| Thaks Lynne. I emailed those links to the Chief Executive earlier this morning and got a rather detached reply within minutes, with words to effect that my complaint will be dealt with within 10 days. Please, whoever is in the same situation, take photos and complain, complain, complain, possibily before a similar disaster strikes. Depending on the reply, I am seriously thinking of taking the council either to court or to the ombudsman or whoever else can oversee this disgrace from a higher point of view. I am starting to believe that (our!) money, and some contract or other, may be the reason trees and birds are unnecessarily sacrificed and killed that way, as opposed to real necessity. They had all been pruned no more than a couple of years ago, by a more professional team that did a better job on that occasion. |
