Got a series of emails from Customer Services and Trees Arboriculture. The initial replies were along the lines of "we know what we're doing, just shut up". Then I sent them the links to my photos, and got messages confirming that my emails have been forwarded and will be looked at. Carrie, who happens to live a few doors down from mine, and anyone else in the area or elsewhere (Hounslow included), please complain to your borough. For Ealing, read my previous messages for links. I repeat the email addresses: customerservices@ealing.gov.uk arboriculture@ealing.gov.uk Take photos, pester them. We may be too late this year, but we've got to get them to sack the team of incompetents they're using and get professionals in. The way to look after trees is not to butcher them, destroying nests and habitats, but to trim them lightly every year, and NOT in spring. If anyone can find useful links about proper tree care, please publish them. I am going to try and escalate my complaint to the Chief Executive again when I get the final replies. |
