Colin You are quite right. Labour and the Liberal Democrats have both broken solemn Manifesto commitments and betrayed the many people who voted for them on the basis of those commitments. Congratulations to the 25 honourable Labour MP's and the 13 honourable Liberal Democrat MP's who voted against their party whips. All opinions polls show that if there were a Referendum on this issue the British electorate would vote overwhelmingly against the massive transfer of powers to the undemocratic and unelected EU Commission which was contained both in the abandoned EU Constitution (which was defeated by the people of France and the Netherlands) and is contained in the Lisbon Treaty which is the new EU Constitution merely called by a different name. |
